Translation

As a native speaker of German living in Germany, I provide naturally sounding, idiomatic and accurate translations from English into German.  

I translate from German into English only if the translation is only for information purposes or will be proofread / edited by a native speaker of English.

The texts to be translated can be submitted in printed form by snail mail or fax, as Word documents or other file formats either by e-mail, on CD-ROM or by upload via FTP or through an online service. The same options are available for the delivery of the translation.


Proofreading

Two pairs of eyes are always better than one. If you have a text that has already been translated into German or has been written in German by a non-native speaker, I offer proofreading services to make sure that terminology, spelling, punctuation and grammar are correct and appropriate.


A Comment on Pricing

My rates vary according to volume, difficulty of the texts, and required formatting. Please do not hesitate to ask me for a non-binding estimate. The more detailed the information about the text, the more precisely I can estimate the price. A binding offer can only be submitted after a review of the complete source material.
