Welcome!

In the age of globalization, international communication is becoming increasingly important. Numerous studies have shown that prospective customers are most likely to respond to written information in their native language.

Even in app stores, you will often see that buyers give a low rating because the app is not available in their language, e.g. in German, but "only" in English.

Almost everyone has already come across websites or manuals with hilarious translations. These translations – mostly machine translations or translations done by people overestimating their command of a foreign language – are highly entertaining, but do not necessarily provide the information required to place an order on a website or to program your new DVD recorder.

A real-life example from my own desk is the sentence “Show hour number hose glitter” in the instructions for setting a clock. Was it immediately clear to you that the hour’s digit on the display is supposed to flash?

If you want your message to be clearly understandable, you are well advised to let a qualified translator do the translation. As a translator from English into German, I provide texts that do not sound "translated", but read like originals.

Please feel free to look around and check whether my qualifications and the services offered meet your requirements.
